DHP Copper
Phosphorous De-Oxidised Non Arsenical Copper
Manufactured to BS 2870, C106 and all equivalent specifications

This grade of Copper is commonly used where brazing or welding is required such as tank manufacture. Also used heavily in the building industry for roofs, gutters, flashings and architectural features this grade has become the “general purpose” option for the New Zealand Copper industry.

The Oxygen content of the Copper has been removed through a process of Phosphorous De-Oxidisation. This enables brazing & welding without Hydrogen embrittlement occurring in the joined area. This process lowers the electrical conductivity of the Copper from 100% IACS to approximately 85% IACS

Electrolytic Tough Pitch Copper
Manufactured to BS 2870, C101 and all equivalent specifications

Rated at 100% IACS electrical conductivity this grade is predominantly used in the electrical & heating industries.
